You Care What Goes In Your Body. Now Care What Goes On It.
Most leggings are made almost entirely from petroleum-based synthetics — polyester, nylon, elastane — pressed against your skin for 8+ hours a day. Independent lab testing has found BPA up to 40× California's legal limit in polyester-spandex activewear, across 19+ tested brands (Center for Environmental Health, 2022–23).
BPA is classified as an endocrine disruptor and listed under California's Proposition 65 as a reproductive toxicant. That's why more women are choosing not to wear it at all.
Omana is built differently. A bamboo-led blend of bamboo viscose and GOTS-certified organic cotton.
The Only Legging Where Nothing Synthetic Touches You.
Every other legging on the market — including "premium" ones — presses synthetic spandex directly against your skin. PureWrap™ is the first construction that wraps the spandex inside the organic cotton and bamboo fiber. The diagram shows exactly how.
The result: full 4-way stretch, zero synthetic skin contact.

What is PureWrap™?
What is PureWrap™?
PureWrap™ is the name of Omana's construction — engineered around organic cotton and bamboo viscose for everyday softness and four-way stretch, with the spandex worked into the fabric structure.
What does 'made with OEKO-TEX certified materials' mean?
What does 'made with OEKO-TEX certified materials' mean?
The fabrics used in Omana are OEKO-TEX certified — independently tested against 100+ harmful substances, including BPA, phthalates and formaldehyde. We don't claim the finished garment itself is certified until that product-level testing is complete.
Are they see-through?
Are they see-through?
No — they're opaque for everyday wear, including bending and movement.
Can I put them in the dryer?
Can I put them in the dryer?
No, and this is the one that matters. Dryer heat shrinks natural fibre and permanently weakens the stretch, and the tumbling is the biggest single cause of pilling a garment ever meets.
Lay flat or hang by the waistband, out of direct sun. Reshape while damp and they'll dry that way.
What are the care instructions for your Omana™ Leggings?
What are the care instructions for your Omana™ Leggings?
Cold, gentle, inside out, and ideally in a mesh laundry bag. Then line dry - never the tumble dryer.
That's most of it. Heat and friction are the only two things natural fibre really objects to.
How do these compare to those other famous leggings brands?
How do these compare to those other famous leggings brands?
Most leggings out there are excellent performance leggings - but they're synthetic (yes, recycled polyester, and recycled plastic is still plastic against your skin). Omana is the clean alternative: a blend led by organic cotton and bamboo, made with OEKO-TEX certified materials.
